Make the most of your visit to downtown Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and the other sites and activities of Mount Desert Island by taking advantage of the amenities included in your stay at the Villager Motel. We open our pool in late May and maintain it through late September for guests to enjoy. Cool off and float anytime between 9am and 9pm each day.
Wireless internet is available across the property so you can get a bit of work done from the desk in your room or browse dinner options while you sunbathe by the pool.
Enjoy our complimentary breakfast before heading into Acadia National Park. Available from 7am-10am with indoor and outdoor seating.
In the busiest parts of the summer, finding parking in downtown Bar Harbor or inside Acadia National Park can be nearly impossible. Being so close to all the town’s best offerings, most of our guests choose to leave their car behind in our free lot and explore on foot or take advantage of the free shuttle bus. One parking spot is included with each room booked.
One of the most convenient ways to get around Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island is on the Island Explorer shuttle bus system. With service departing from the Village Green just around the corner, the Island Explorer offers free, public transportation to many of the area’s most popular sites and attractions using low-emissions, propane-powered buses and can even transport your bike as well. This service is available from late June through Columbus Day, and is a great way to enjoy the area without the hassle of driving.
